Luna Merbruja & Amy Heart reading at SF Dyke March

Celebrate the Lammy nomination of Resilience with Amy Heart & Luna Merbuja at the San Francisco Dyke March. Both Luna and Amy will be reading from their respective work from 2:45-3:05 on stage.
ABOUT LUNA MERBRUJA
Luna Merbruja is a Mexican-Athabaskan writer, artist, and healer. They are the author of Trauma Queen and their newly released poetry book Heal Your Love. Luna has written about gender, sexuality, healing, and feminism for Autostraddle, Everyday Feminism, and The East Bay Express. They have been recently published in the anthology Nerve Endings: The New Trans Erotic and the Resilience Anthology.
Currently, Merbruja is a book editor at biyuti publishing, an intern at Peacock Rebellion, workshop coordinator and executive board member at Heartspark Press, and a project advisor and board member for Mirror Memoirs.
ABOUT AMY HEART
Amy Heart is a queer storyteller and social justice advocate, dedicated to lifting the voices of trans girls and trans women everywhere.
From 2002 to 2013, Amy worked exclusively in non-profit community television as both educator and community organizer. Since then, she has focused her energy on ‘unlearning’ white supremacy, studying disability justice, building strong relationships with other trans women artists, and helping people become fluent in modern technology. Amy has a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Film Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
